Our company specialises in the removal of foul water and effluent from interceptors and underground tanks, we recently had to move premises and obtain a new permit from the Environment Agency. SdG Consultants assisted throughout the whole process of successfully obtaining a permit they also reviewed and amended our Health and Safety procedures and policy. As we deal with hazardous waste we approached SdG consultants about establishing and implementing an Environmental Management System to ISO 14001:2004 that would be bespoke for our organisation. Not only did they deliver on time and on budget they also provided us with a detailed Legal Register and Environmental Aspects Register.

We take sheet metal, predominately from the motor vehicle manufacturing industrial, that would otherwise be destined for reprocessing, just as melting down, and take the sheet metal and re-cut and shape to meet a number of clients requirements, such as, to making watering cans. We engaged SdG consultants as I had attended a training course provided by Business Link BET+ on implementing an Environmental Management System and delivered by Simon. As Abbey Steel are in the business of recycling and reusing we wanted to implement an EMS to ISO14001:2004 that could be understood at all levels within the organisation. SdeG consultants provided us with the necessary procedures and registers to maintain an EMS and also provided comprehensive training to all our staff on the implementation of an EMS.

Roseland Restoration Limited specialises in the bespoke refurbishment and termed maintenance of private dwellings, predominately in central London. We where recommended to SdG Consultants by a number of our contractors who have engaged the services of SdG to for fill the role of CDM Co-ordinator as required by the Construction (Design and Maintenance) Regulations 2007. Likewise SdG consultants look after all our Health & Safety requirements provided detailed procedures, risk assessments and method statements. Also all our tool box talks and training requirements for both our employees and contractors and met by SdG consultants. We now have to provide Site Waste Management Plans which I’m happy to leave in Sdg consultants capable hands. I am now no longer daunted by my responsibilities to health and safety requirements and changes in legislation as SdG keep me up to date and keep the necessary paperwork to a minimum.

We approached SdG consultants not only for specialist advice in health and safety, to which SdG provide all our health and safety requirements and recommendations they also provide detailed in depth knowledge on matters relating to the environment and waste. This has proved invaluable when submitting tender documents SdG have not only assisted in the completion of these tenders they (SdG) can always be relayed open to have a procedure or document to back up a statement, by it for demonstrating competency or a procedure for working at height.

To assist in the marketing of our products we approached SdG to provide us with procedures to meet the certification process and auditing we also asked SdG to appear on Sash Window TV to discuss the Working at Height Regulations within the window industry. SdG gave us a concise well though out summary of the regulations. I’m not to sure if TV is ready for him yet!
